Major Vic Aviles, United States Army Reserves, has been selected to oversee the Video
Broadcast detachment for the Department of Defense Warrior Games to be held at the United
States Army Military Academy in West Point, New York during the month of June, 2016. His
unit will produce video detailing the lives of the competitors and showcasing the DoD Warrior
Games. “It’s about the sacrifice that those who came before have made. Telling their story is an
honor and a privilege and I’m proud to do my part,” Major Aviles says.
This is the first year the Army has hosted the DoD Warrior Games, which is an annual sporting
competition that brings together wounded, ill, and injured veterans from all divisions of the
United States military. Major Aviles is the Creative Director for Dead Horse Productions, LLC; a
video production company located in Anderson, S.C.
